BLUEGRASS SPEEDWAY 2011 SUPER LATE MODEL RULES

 

  The ‘Ice Man’ Looks Back On His Convincing DIRTcar UMP Triumphand/or    and/or  Body Rules Apply

 

1.      Engine/Weight Combinations:

-Aluminum Block Open Engine:  2,300 lbs.

-Steel Block Engine:  2,200 lbs

-GM602 or GM 604 Engine:  2,200 lbs.

-CT525 or DT525 Engine:  2,300 lbs.

 

2.             Tire Rule (Hoosier Tire Only)

               -Front:  Any compound Hoosier Tire maximum 11x92

               -Rear:  LM20, 1300, 1350, LM40, 1600 & D55 (Shoulder Plated)

               -Soft Compounds (LM20, 1300, 1350) Must Durometer 40 Prior

               -Hard Compounds (LM40, 1600, D55) Must Durometer 60 Prior

               -GM602 and GM604 Cars may use the following tire compounds:  LSB21 or LSB55 

               -SUPR or SAS branded Hoosier 1600 is not eligible for competition.

-Largest permitted tire is twenty-nine inches (29”) x eleven inches (11”) x fifteen inches (15”).    --Maximum circumference permitted is ninety-three inches (93”).
-Maximum cross section width permitted is sixteen and three-quarters inches (16 ¾”).
-Hoops for inspection must pass over tire freely.
-No tire softeners, no tire conditioner, or chemical altering of tire allowed.

The race director shall be empowered to permit reasonable and appropriate deviations from any of the specifications herein or impose and further the restrictions that in his opinion do not alter the minimum acceptable requirements.  NO EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF SAFETY SHALL RESULT FROM SUCH ALTERATION OF SPECIFICATIONS.  Any interpretation or deviation of these rules is left to the discretion of the officials.  THEIR DECISION IS FINAL.
