National All Star Racing Association Comes to Bluegrass Speedway on August 15

 

Bardstown , KY- Bluegrass Speedway track promoters David and Anita Ferrell are pleased to announce an event that will be added to the current 2009 racing schedule and will take place on Saturday August 15.

 

The National All Star Racing Association, founded recently by legendary chassis builder C.J. Rayburn, will sanction an event at the ½ mile high-banked Nelson County clay oval on Saturday August 15.  The event will pay $3,000 to win and all competitors from any and all different series are invited to participate, as all the Late Models will race together in this division that evening.  Also on the racing card for Saturday August 15 along with the National All Star Racing Association Late Models will be the track’s WBRT 1320-AM Sportsman and Street Stock divisions, while the Modifieds will have the evening off.  Ticket prices for the event will be $15 for adults in the general admission area, $8 for children ages 6 to 12, and free to those children under age 6, with a pit pass costing $30.  The tire rule for the event will be as follows:  any Hoosier or American Racer brand compound tire that durometers a minimum of 58.  For more information concerning the National All Star Racing Association, contact Eva Goeb at rayburn@indy.net or phone 877-828-8232.

 

Also of note for the Bluegrass Speedway Modified competitors, the Modified division will now receive track points on Saturday August 1 since they will not be in competition now on Saturday August 15.
